My husband and I were recently in Chicago from Boise Idaho. I just want to say going to Margie's felt just like being in 'our' neighborhood pub. Every one was friendly if not entirely coherent. We had a great time with our kids. Thanks to all

Just arent enough places like this left, have bumped into a few locals so wierd you wouldnt believe it! This area has got so pretentious and when the owners of these places pass away the alderman and his idiot friend - Daley will have all the dive bar licences. So just for old times sake give a place like this a try sometime you never know you might just like it a little rough after all!

Awesome prices, great bartender!! gave us 3 shots of (3 wise men) a sex on the beach, a draft beer, and a glass of water for $7!!!!! Also gave us a bunch of free shots! Great place, friendly bartenders!!!!

The prices are great in Margies,the rest of the neighborhood is higher in beer prices.The regulars are pretty funny too.
