It was a nice little coffee shop. Located in a less busy area. On street parking (no meters). It seemed to be a place for people with laptops and subjects to study. May not be the best ambiance for first dates. The back room was cute. Great for studying.

Best coffeeshop in Chicago. Warm atmosphere, quiet, nice music, and absolutely lovely interior. But for the early hours, it would be perfect.

anyone who has ever been to sip, but hasnt been there in a while needs to revisit it! or if you havent made your way over there yet you definitly must. sure it was cute before but now due to an expansion the place is simply incredible. its hard to believe that the space was never there and still they have managed to keep two outdoor seating areas! sip away!

Upon entering the Coffee House, you are greeted with a warm and bubly barista. While you are choosing a drink from their expansive menu, you notice the homeiness of the place. Small in stature, this cafe is furnished with a smatering of different types of furniture. A few small tables line one wall, while a purple velvet chaise lounge and a few chairs orbit around a coffee table. I usually hang on the chaise lounge, drink my coffee and surf the internet with my laptop. The number one reason I go here is everyone is there to hang out and mind their own business. No one is sitting on the their cell phones talking loudly and trying to get in your business. It's a cool environment for writing, reading a book or designing a web page. (which I see a lot) Very creative environment.
