This hidden jewel has the best Thai food I have ever tasted. Also, the atmosphere is great - warm but not too dark, homey but clean. Prices are very reasonable - we get dinner for two with appetizers and Thai iced tea for well under thirty bucks. I think they do a bang up take out business (since the Roscoe Village neighborhood gentrified to lots of yuppies who eat in at home, so it's never crowded).
My favorites are the Pineapple Curry and the Phad See Ew noodles. There are a lot of choices for making your dishes how you like them - beef, chicken, tofu, whatever.
We try to patronize this restaurant at least three times a month - we want it to stay and succeed! 8.5 out of 10 overall (service is a little weak, consistency in seasoning of same dishes is a little variable).
