I too have been a customer for over ten years now. I stopped briefly about five years ago because the two daughters at the counter appeared more interested in selling lottery tickets than taking orders; however, the Dad wisely removed the machine. I was just in there today and ordered a couple of Jumbo hot dogs and apparently the way they make them is simply to nuke them in the microwave. Upon my inquiry about this, one of the daughters and the cook tried to conceal the fact and muttered something about the dogs cooking "in the back." The mother must have overheard the whole thing and she arrived on the scene trying to obseve exactly what happened. There was some to and fro from the back sink area ( and a great deal of whipsering among the three) . Then the mother reappears empty handed and alone to the front counter and sheepishly informs me (as she packs my order) that the jumbo hot dogs were not made and that that's the reason why they were simply micorwaved frozen. I disliked being lied to, and though I had prepaid, I simply walked out without the order vowing never to return. I did give two stares for atmosphere because I think the mom makes an effort but she's up against the two princesses and their coterie of cooks.

The food at patio is amazing and i especially love the spicy fries, hot dogs and gyros. I reccomend you check this restraunt out!

Funny, Patio Beef was never called the "lotto bug". Maybe you've called it the lotto bug because there used to be a green VW beatle with painted lotery balls on it. Oh I'm the owners daughter by the way. ;) yeah I love the food too. lol :)

I love the patio. it used to be called the lotto bug cuz it sold lottery tickets but that name sounded too much like "lotsa bugs". the food is great. try the gyros.
