Pilsner Urquelle is not an adventurous beer. It is available at any supermarket or liqour store, and even most ghetto marts and gas stations. It is an extremely common import. Try the microbrews, homie. Thats adventurous. Try a belgium style, or a stout in the summer, that is adventurous.

Lion's head is right by my work and home, but the horrendous service (downstairs) tends to keep me away. Food or at the bar it is horrible. I like the atmosphere of the apartment, but the drinks were too expensive. I also think that there were a good deal of creepy guys.

Would be a cool bar/club atmosphere if the staff wasn't so snobby. The bartender upstairs was great and very nice but the one downstairs treated me like crap. Probably because I didn't have a Burberry scarf or something. And then she charged my card the $50 fee to "check" my credit and it took over 5 DAYS to clear my account. She could've at least warned me!! When I called to talk to the manager Joe about the charge, he was completely unprofessional and talked to me like I was a child. I will NEVER go here again.

i had an awesome time..... the best vibe around... i love the 2 floors how u can sit and chill downstairs and get wild and crazy dancing upstairs!!!! my fave club around, i promise you wont be disappointed... got out there and party your ass off!!!!

Was there saturday night and the place was packed..i dont drink loser??)was DD for some friends.I got up to the dance floor and i think the floor is so bouncy its like a spring when u jump on it. I dont think i would go back till they do something about it..the ceiling is so cheesy with fabric cover..didnt look upscale for that location!! but who cares when u have friends and gals!around who are drunk!!

I had a good time here. The layout is pretty neat, but I wouldn't go here expecting to meet too many girls. The 'dance floor' (aka not really a dance floor) was crowded with about 80%+ guys, all hawking over the same ladies, which we know always turns out well.
I drank beer so I can't comment on the "water down" issue.

Not too shabby. If you don't like the Weed St., Wicker Park, Wrigleyville, Rush St. or Dearborn (downtown) clubs, then this is an awesome place. IMO, the places I mentioned suck. You'll have a good time in Lincoln Park if that's your crowd. Lion Head is ok, but it's true, the drinks are water down. There's still too many girls that enjoy dancing with each other rather than with a guy! And they probably wonder why they are still single. Give the guys a chance!! It's a club!

Great place for a variety. I love'd the atmosphere upstairs, which on any weekend night can get extremely wild. Sure, the bouncers are @#$%!...but that's there job. My boyfriend used to bounce and I couldn't believe the things he had to deal with! The crowd is a good mix of people and they're definitely drinking their faces off. Drinks are kinda pricey, but there are great specials every day of the week. I've also seen some bartenders that are phenomenal in the place...never mind waiting a minute for a drink as long as the guy/girl behind the bar is busting their @##. Check it out...and ask Keith to do some flare for you.

DO NOT GO HERE! ALL THE DRINKS ARE "WATER DOWN!" If you have a bottled beer, then you are ok. But any drinks with hard liquor and it's just basically water down. And it costs $8.00 for one of those water down drinks. The place gets very crowded and about 75% guys and 25% girls. Place SUCKS. I do not recommend this place, especially since they mix water in their liquor bottles.

Well, the place is awesome but the guy at the door is (censored). We go there often and this past saturday my friend had no ID because the valey parking rushed to take his car and his ID was inside. They didn't want to take us to the car and the guy at the door didn't want to let us because his manager was there. Then he took my friend on the side and said he will let him in if he gives him $20. It's not even about the money but about his attitude. Where was the manager then????
