My group walked up and down Rush and landed here. I don't believe that we had to pay a cover...the door guys were uber friendly and accomidating. The inside staff were even more uber friendly (lighting our cigars for us). The space may have been a little cramped, but the good time we had made up for that. The music was outstanding, and the drinks were killer. I would reccomend this place to any out-of-towner, and any local.

I went to Syn on July 31st. It was sooo fun. I agree the drinks were really expensive. But guys, you're in the heart of Chicago, what do you expect? I didn't have to worry about spending my money on drinks, it was my bachelorette party. The little lounge area was very cool. The guys in the place were super nice. The atmosphere was kicking and the music was fun. Not at all stuffy or pretentious. Everyone seemed like they were there to have a good time. I will definitely go back.

Buzz kill. The owner has a false sense of importance for a so called discoteque where it's impossible to dance, the drinks are overpriced and the decor is cheaper looking than the cheapest Ikea stuff. You're better off paying the cover somewhere else.

This place is EXPENSIVE. Don't know if they're still doing the $20 cover or not, but drinks are $10-13, Heineken is SEVEN DOLLARS, and the music should only accompany a wedding reception.
Not to mention the staff looks miserable - they're completely overstaffed.
