I'd have to more than agree with Grace, this place is undeniably great, far better than any other chicagoland bubble tea shops! Not only do their products surpass the quality of any other tea/coffee/boba shops (they use the freshest ingredients for their teas, intelligentsia coffee..same as Trotter's if that doesn't say quality what does?...and they brew loose leaf teas, amazing flavor~! This coffee shop is a gem in the suburbs, one would only expect to find such a combination of a chic and serene ambience in the city. From the lighting to the colors the scene is set for hitting the books or chatting it up with friends. Now if I am yet to convince you of how impressed I was with this place, let me tell you the desserts are to die for! I'm a culinary arts major and the tea and coffee were what drew me here but the desserts made me and friends sit down and stay a while. Get a few different ones and several forks and dig in! This place is excellent for winding down after an early night out.

steve and bubbletea, did you guys really visit the same place i did? surely we cannot be talking about the same cafe!
liquid fusion is a taste of the city's sophistocation in the strip mall of the suburbs. it is a refreshing stop in many sense of the word. the decor is modern but provides a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. i'm a writer and i can see myself sitting there for hours just feeling inspired to write.
i stopped by liquid fusion with some friends who were visiting from california, and we all agreed that this is the best tasting boba in the chicagoland area... definitely up to par even to the best of those in california.
while we were there, we enjoyed the laid back atmosphere as well as the perfectly cooked boba -- not too firm and not too mushy. funny that bubbletea complained of the taro tea... that is generally my least favorite, but i loved it at liquid fusion. it tasted like real taros and not powdery and sugar-laden. the quality of the product here is seriously impressive -- even better than the kind i used to enjoy in the LA area.

I agree, Liquid Fusion is small and cramped. There are only about 4 tables there, when I first walked in there, I thought it was some kind of joke.
The bubble tea tastes like it comes from an old tea bag and milk.
It makes the other bubble tea places (even the bad ones) taste good

Not worth the $3. I had a taro tea fusion and it tasted old and needed sugar. It is NOT comparable to those made in chinatown.
