After hearing about new owners taking over I decided to give it another try - and WOW, this place is so much better! The staff is well-trained and friendly. The DJ's are great and take requests! The design updates and really cool too! I can't wait to go back next weekend!

After being a regular at Bamboo Room for about 1 1/2 years and actually enjoying it for a suburban club I will never go back again. I would consider myself a real peaceful, upstanding guy that causes no problems nor do my friends. To make a long story short it was the end of the night and the bar was closing in 1/2 hour. Last call was just announced and my friend went to use the bathroom where he was greeted by (asshole #1) the bouncer who said the bathroom was closed. No announcement was ever made and he had to go, my friend went to walk around him and was grabbed by the throat and pushed to the ground. We all see this and it set off a riot. I have never seen so much idiocy and thug like behavior like the bouncers at Lombard Bamboo Room. I will never return!

The Red i that's located on 2201b s wentworth ave was great. I love the atompshere the plush couch. It made you feel grown and sexy. Matter of fact I have plans on have my 22nd birthday party there on feb 24. Once you get pass those stairs it's a different world. It's not that costly good bartending service. when I went One Chance was in the building but who cares. I love the dj and how he kept my body moving and drop it like its hot. So If you want to have a good club experience go to the red i matter of fact come to my party. tyrene signing off live life and please don't drink and drive

I went to to this place on new years eve with some friends, i've seen way better clubs than this. I mean the DJ and the band they just kill the music its very hard to move with their beats. I wish they change the DJ i would be there every day. i like the atmosphere and the bartenders are hot evey though i saw couple 40s and 50s year old guy circuling around lol.

Bamboo is busy on the weekends which only makes sense being that its the best place to go that isn't downtown...that being said what really puts it over the top in my book is the hot dj that plays in the side room upstairs on Saturdays!

Ladies, if you want to hang out with your friends and have a great time without driving to the city, go here. But be prepared to have creepy old guys circling you all night. I always bring along the staple guy friend to cock block for me.

Great placefor the suburbs, music is good but Ladies should watch out for the gross dj...if u request a song there is a good chance he will grab your boobs. stay away from him and u will have a good time.

Went to Bamboo Room couple months ago and I loved it. I went on a Thursday night when they have 2 or 3 dollar drinks. Great time, good music. Too bad they close at 1am that night.

First of all, I am not one to critique any time I get to hang with my buds and have a few drinks. That being said, it is not the city but hands down the best place in the 'burbs to drink and dance with Alumni probably number two. I mean, honestly, where else in the 'burbs can you go and party like this (except for maybe downtown Naperville, which is a completely different scene in itself). People need to get over themselves.
