Great place! The rigatoni buona terra isamazing! An all around great place from the menu to the staff. Anyone who says otherwise is crazy...or they own a restaurant that is trying to compete with the unbeatable Buona Terra!

One of the better Italian restaurants in Chicago, very reasonable, high quality and fresh food, excellent, friendly service and respect for reservations weekdays or weekends. Alwqays a good choice.

We've eaten there many times, and I can recommend it without hesitation. The menu is steady and dependable, the wine list is above average, and the wait staff (despite other comments) is among the best in the city. Head here for a great meal combined with good conversation, you'll never be disappointed.

If you like Italian food, this is the place to eat! Every Thursday, for just $19.95 per person, you can eat an appetizer, main course with soup or salad, bread and desert. And is located in beautiful Logan Square Blvd with landmark homes. And my friends were able to take the blue line to California or Logan stop and walk a very short distance. While you wait to be seated, you can order drinks from the bar or eat al fresco. The staff was friendly and made sure my party was well taken care of. What more can you ask for?

We are THRILLED to be able to walk to this fabulous Italian eatery. We have visited numerous times (with many different groups of friends and family) and we have never been disappointed. Everyone we ever took there also loved it. The service is consistently courteous and attentive, the food is excellent, the garlic dip they bring with the fresh bread is something to look forward to, really fair prices and great, exposed brick atmosphere. We also love sitting outside in the summertime with a glass of good red wine and their usual, outstanding pasta. Love it!!

Buona Terra is a great find. I just "Check Please" doesn't discover it or it will get too crowded. The dining rooms are lovely and intimate. The food is innovative and delicious. I've never had a bad experience with the service. And you can't beat the price for a restaurant of this caliber. The agnolotti with pumpkin in sage butter sauce is incredible.

Buona Terra is a very nice place. From the decor to the food. You will not be disappointed. My boyfriend and I had a great experience.

Surprisingly kid-friendly. Every time we have been there, the owner has come over to the table to tell us how glad she is that we brought our daughter (she is now 2 1/2). The food is very good and although there is no kid's menu, it's easy to find something for small children. If your kids are picky, they will gladly bring them plain noodles.

Good hearty food in beautiful Logan Square, but an experience that is consistently marred by remarkably amateur and often inattentive service. Based on numerous visits, I'd say the waitstaff either needs to be extensively retrained, or, more sensibly, moved to busperson positions and replaced by more competent staff. I'm sorry to say these waiters are really pretty bad.

Incredible food, incredible price! This is one restaurant that I always leave feeling I got more then a paid for. The only thing I dread is having to choose which delicious meal Im going to spoil myself with! Who ever wrote that first page must have Emeril as a personal chef.
