Excellent bands play at the place. The food is outstanding and the service is better. Has to be one of the best Irish Pubs that I have ever been in.

You might want to at least get the name right. It's Ballydoyle Irish PUB & Restaurant, not "Bar".
Great Pan-Fried Salmon. And check out the private booth in the back room. It's a real confessional brought in from an old church Ireland. It seats up to four.

'twas better when they served Beamish & Point on tap. Fun pub, good owner, pretty good staff. Always nice to have live music. Beats all other "Irish" Pubs in the burbs.

Ballydoyle does have a good, lively atmosphere that one might expect for an Irish pub. The entertainment and other activities also adds a sense of liveliness to this pub.
The food is of average quality and is reasonably priced.
Generally the service is good. However, if large crowds of patrons turn out on nights when staffing levels are poor, the service can become unacceptable. Case in point, my wife and I have failed to even get our ordered meals on such a night after a 90 minute wait, with the waitress explaining that our meal order was lost. This points to a major staffing problem in the kitchen. On most nights, luckily, the meals are acceptably prepared and are delivered in a timely manner.

Great open mics on Wednesday. Good food and great beer choices. Nice beer garden in the summer too.

Lame, lame, lame.
