What a world of difference this course has seen over the last year. The greens are awsome and you can tell someone has been really working on them. The course is a great test. You need great approach shots and a good putter to do well. Nice condition, nice staff and nice price.

I really like this course. It's an old style design with lots of challenges and some of the best greens around. I play on Saturdays quite a bit and the staff are always friendly and the pace of play is pretty good (about 4 1/4 hours), I like that. The price is cheap too , $45 weekends and after 2pm only $30. I would give Glencoe a thumbs up!

This course is in very good shape (not excellent, but very good) and is one of the best values in Chicagoland. Good pace of play and challenging. Lots of bunker-guarded greens. The course sits right next to the Chicago Botanical Gardens - on one hole, you play right next to the trolley track taking visitors around the perimeter of the gardens.

Wanted to play Glencoe, but after calling several times and only getting a busy signal over several hours I decided to play elsewhere.

As a Glencoe resident, I was delighted to witness a rebirth of the Glencoe Golf Course this year. Fairways are narrower, pin positions tighter, and the rough, ponds and treelined fairways challenge golfers of all levels. Add a beautiful, tranquil setting with well-manicuted fairways, and you have a polished jewel. This is a classic James Braid design.
