I visited this cafe and i enjoyed the music and the tamales are to die for. The server did not make me feel very comfortable and I think first impressions on how service is is very important. ROSE

The mexican chocolate is great and the atmosphere is nice, but I saw a few critters in there by the bathroom.

i went to "cafe mestizo" for the first time on valentine's day with my friend annya and it was amazing..you got to join in with the band..alot of good acts..poetry, comedy, and more..i recommend having a COCOA AZTECA..a mexican style hot chocolate topped with whip cream..yumm!

I love this place. I have coffee here often and use the wireless internet to do work on my laptop. The tamales are great and remind me of the ones I have when I visit Peru. Wednesday nights are fun. A lot of local amatuer artists come to show there stuff: poetry, music, even short music videos and film. I wish the cafe a lot of success because it is a one-of-a-kind in the neighborhood. The artistry on the walls change over a period of time and are interesting to look at. I have never purchased any, but you can if you want to.

Nice atmosphere, nice people-- have had delivery to Mt. Sinai Hospital in the past, but today when I called I spoke to a very negative person who claimed they don't deliver here, only to "Pilsen" , and was not interested in giving any information. Apparently they have too much business.
