I love the Snail. Granted, I lived very close to it for a long time, but I get these cravings for their pad thai which I think rivals anyone else's pad thai in the city. They've never been anything less than exceptional in their service and accuracy and speed. And they're BYOB which makes the night a lot cheaper for everybody, and yeah you can get out of there for ten bucks easily.

I must say.... I happen to stumble upon this restaurant... but if I hadnt I would have continued to miss out on some of the best THAI FOOD that CHICAGO has to offer... the comfy and cozy setting and DECOR makes the food just that much better. Me being a VEGAN it is very hard to find restaurants that can really cater to my eating habits.. but the SNAIL.. was right on the money... thanks... RAIN

The Snail is good thai. not the best, not the worst. cheap, dependable, excellent for ordering in (they deliver on weeknights in less than 30 minutes usually, often in 20 or less).
