Best late-night choice for us. We see a lot of movies at AMC's River East 21 theater and take the Chicago/66 bus to the Chicago stop of the Brown line. It's right there and worlds better than the only other choice - McDonald's at the Red Line stop. The majority of the clientèle is Middle Eastern cab drivers, and the food is basically Pakistani home cooking. My wife and I usually get two main courses and an order of bread. Cheap, good and filling. One of the better deals in the city and definitely the best deal downtown, post-midnight. We've never been unable to get a table, though it might be crowded around sundown during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
