Great little place and outstanding burgers, fries and chicken salads! My wife and I go there at least once a week. The wait staff is good, but Greg is outstanding and loads of fun. Order the brownie dessert. You will love it!

had brunch at Rockwells Sunday based on the opinion that for $8.50 it is the best brunch buffet around. Well, two scrambled egg dishes, bacon, sausage, french toast and biscuits and gravy does not make this a return trip. The best brunch buffet for 8.95 is Chicago Joe's, ten times Rockwells

This cozy corner restaurant is just a 10-minute walk from home, so we're in luck. The hearty gumbo is out of this world, the pork chop (really a thick cut of boneless pork loin) is perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the burger rivals anyone else with a claim of the best burger in town. Get over there right away!

best damn burgers in chicago, period. the staff is so friendly and down to earth, you know that they're just decent people you can chat with. although we're child-free, it's nice to see a friendly retaurant where the parents in our neighborhood can bring the family out for good food.
i so very strongly recommend this place. :)

After months of driving by this neat little restuarant in my neighborhood, I decided to give it a try. I'm actually upset at myself for not trying this restaurant sooner. The staff was super nice, and the food was delicious. The prices were very reasonable which will definitelyl bring me back. Very highly recommended.
