I try to be realistic, the ladies tees are a fair challenge for my skill level. I just wish that my group would be more supportive and help me strive to break 90. As a new parent I do no want this course to affect my child rearing skills.

Golfs "mecca" is located in Glenwood. If you can make it through "Amen Corner" holes 1-4, you have a chance. Beware, Brent's Pond might have a little something to say about that.

#16 is the best hole in Chicago......period! The croissant breakfast sandwich is best enjoyed in the middle of the 10th fairway.

I'm am riddled by this course. I have played it 63 times and can't break 80. My wife hides when I come home from playing the "Wood."

Love this track, have played it since the mid 80's. With Carmine and Bogie gone, the clubhouse needs to add a little "personality". Cart gals are top notch.

Glenwoodie's greens are a treat to play. A constant and enjoyable challenge. They have undulations that will have you talking to yourself. It's like what I've heard about courses in UK and Scotland. If you can score on these greens you can score anywhere. One drawback, the course as a whole needs some repair work esp. the fairways (as of late 2003).

Just got off the course. Its in great shape! First time in 25 years I played there. Its every bit as good as when the Jemsek's owned it. Very challaging course. Greens in great shape. Great bargan at $30 for golf, cart and breakfast. Highly recommended
