Richard Marks has designed an elegant outdoor concrete water garden. Features fish, water plants, built-in lighting, filter, pump and heater. Looks spectacular in the back yard. An excellent addition to any landscape project! Highly recommend any and all products designed and produced by Richard Marks and Concrete Age Artworks.

Richard Marks is a very talented craftsman. His integrity, good spirit & ease to work with make the times that we have collaborated a true pleasure. The Custom Metal Furniture that I design and build (http://www.kramerdesignstudio.com) is only brought to a higher level from the addition of Richard Marks concrete tops. I feel that the attention to detail that Richard pours into his "forms", is only equal to the "heft" of his final product.

I've known Richard for over 6 years and he's done a number of projects for me. He has enough experience in his custom concrete craft to be honest and tell you what he can or cannot control. As much as its often described as a science - its also incredibly detailed and hard to replicate each time. If you accept this beautiful natural, not perfect product for what it is, care for it and listen to the professional - you'll be pleased for years and years to come. If you cannot, you should look into the perfect laminate.

Concrete Age, located in the heart of Pilsen, should be noted for their beautiful craftmanship. However, it is important to note here--that beautiful craft and honest business does not mix. The owner, Richard Marks has refused to refund my payments which represent more than 75% of the bill. My husband and I decided to sever the relationship because of serious professional, customer service and ethical issues it was clear that the partnership was not going to work.
I would not reccomend working with this company. However, if you decide to make sure that you make very clear expectations about how you intend to conduct business--or be prepared to have your money taken from you BUYER BEWARE.
NOTICE: This is NOT the OFFICIAL Concrete Age Artworks website. These reviews are a forum for opinions about the venue that other Centerstage Chicago users may want to know, not to order merchandise, apply for a job, etc.
