Okay --- the food IS delicious.
BUT BUT BUT terribly overpriced and, far worse, served with the most ridiculous pretention and pompousness. It's like some 8 year old's idea of what good restaurant service would be. Rather than just presenting what one ordered the waiters are clearly instructed to tell you what each dish is as it arrives...and not just "here is your shrimp" or "here is your herb shrimp" but "here is the herb-roasted small Lyonnaise shrimp with roasted tarragon garlic in a Napa Valley Chardonnay reduction."
Just in case you'd forgotten what you ordered, I guess.
My waiter, posed with the water pitcher, actually asked at one point "may I provide you with a water beverage at this point?"
If it were being done as comedy it might work, but they seem to be serious. It was so silly and ultimately annoying that it seriously detracted from the food which was, again, quite good.
