I have been going to Amitabul since I was in high school and keep introducing friends to it 9 years later. Try something off the menu or just ask Dave to make you something he thinks you might like (give him two ingredients you love and his brother will work wonders in the kitchen). I'm a very much a carnivore but this food is so good I don't care! They even do vegan cooking classes if you're interested!

The food at Amitabul's is unique and outstanding. The Chef selects the most incredible and fresh vegtables, herbs and spices and combines them in a special way. The results are dishes that have bold and delicious taste that you cannot find anywhere else. Also, the food is very healthy - it will make you feel good to eat it. This place is worth the drive. Whenever we have been there, we have heard other patrons who say they drove in from far away, even from Wisconsin.

Amitabul is really fantastic. None of the vegatables are overcooked or leeched of their nutrients in anyway. It reminded my why strange green things are worth eating. The energy you get off the food is really clean burning-- you feel physically different. Also try the smoothies, particularly the Energy smoothie.
