I have been here many times for lunch (on a work day) and each and every time the salads have been Delicious. We also went here for my husband's birthay and our group took a wide selection off the menu. The food was wonderful for one and all (from soup to dessert). Definately one of our regular stops.

I must be missing something. I saw the review for Southport on Check Please and went there on a Saturday around 11am. The service was informative and prompt, but I felt the bread-pudding pancakes were undercooked, more of a batter texture than bread pudding. My server assured me they were not. Bought a vanilla and a chocolate cupcake to go. The vanilla cake seemed heavy, like pound cake. The chocolate cake was alright, but nothing special. The vanilla frosting was somewhat gritty. For $2.00 each, they were not worth it for me. My wife had the stuffed French toast and liked it alot. She would go back for it again.

Once I found this place, I became instantly addicted. The selection of groceries- especially the chocolates- are unique and delicious and the food is well-priced and delicious every time. I highly recommend the bread-pudding pancakes and grab a box of Terry's Orange-Passion Toffee on the way out!
