For a girls only weekend in Chicago we kind of stumbled on this place. Needless to say it was the best find ever. The food was great and the service was excellent.

I have been at the Nugget more than a few drunken nights after being out and about when I should have gone straight home. The food is so-so but what always attracted me to the plain jane diner was the motherly service. In particular, ask for Linda. Good place to end the night but sensibility would side on calling it a night.

The Nug is really good if you are wasted and need a good dose of ultra-greasy food. The Nug has really dank pancakes and their omelets are pretty tasty...but, be warned that one bite of the hash browns will leave a nice big stream of grease running down your chin.
