If you want to enjoy French food in Chicago Cafe Bernard is where to go.Excell. wine , friendly staff ,great food. You will not be disappointed

As usual we enjoued our dinner at Cafe Barnard on Sunday, April 25. I am disappointed, however, that the salad no longer comes with the dinner. Also, in this day of watching carbs, the four scallops and few vegetables with the scallop dinner was overwhelmed with a huge mound of garlic mashed potatoes. I, and I am sure, others would prever more vegetables (and salad) and fewer potatoes (and maybe one or two more scallops).

The food is very good. Beware of the valet service getting parking tickets and then keeping them. After contacting the Valet Service was advised it would be paid the following day. Waited an additional 16 days and still unpaid.
