Dick's River Road House is home to every lame ass suburbanite in the area. You have your gangster wannabe's and kids pretending to have money. This is one of Fred Hoffman's chain of shitty bars that plays horrible music. Every time I have ever been forced to go there that song with Usher and Little John is playing. The music and the people are the worst part about this place. Bartenders are friendly though. I feel sorry for them.

nice place to chill and have a beer with friends as long as you don't mind waiting forever for your order, or your server.

a friend and i go here almost every weekend during NASCAR season. its a drive but it has great food and service for the price.

my friends and i always go on thursdays, it used to be a lot of fun then they fired the good dj and replaced him with some old man (literally) who plays old music, and rarely plays hip hop unless we harass him, so that really sucks....and the bouncers at the door are really biased and make up stupid dress code rules for random people....idk its a cool place but they gotta work on the music.

Terrible service..to say the least. I showed up wearing a soccer jersey and was rudely asked to remove it. Despite the fact that several people that I pointed out to the bouncer were also wearing sports apparel, I removed the jersey and left it in the car. I returned only to be told that I can't wear my addidas t-shirt there, so it had to be turned inside out (I also spotted a few addidas t-shirts besides mine). After finally getting in and settling down at a table with my girlfriend and a few buddies, I was continuously harrased by the same jerk about every half hour. The funny thing is that I showed up the week before wearing the same t-shirt and had no problems whatsoever. They really don't know how to treat a customer...

We go almost once a day all different times. It is the best old fashioned neighborhood pub. A comfortable place to hang out, never made to feel rushed. The food is like home made from breakfast to late night meals. The people are nice from all ages, all walks of life. The staff is unusually friendly and pretty and makes a point of remembering people and their favorite orders. During important sports games the crowd is revved up to insane proportions. Normally they have a different sport on each tv, even ones like pool.
Once a group of underage teens used fake IDs to get in, got loud and abusive and were asked to leave, the police came to check those IDs.
NTN Trivia is never on and takes forever to get someone who knows how to put on and get a control. Most places have it on all the time on at least one tv in each area. We usually go somewhere else to sit & play.
Only downside for some of our friends who won't go back, is the life sized male dummy at a urinal in women's otherwise beautiful bathroom. Creepy and unnerving for women who are urged to be aware of perverts hiding in washrooms. Nothing in the mensroom, so not sure about their overt message/attitude to ladies. Get some class and replace it with a painting.

Place is pretty nice, thursday nights seem to be the best. Music is eh.. drinks are strong and cheap so thats always a good thing! :) Haven't had the food yet but I'm going to try it out tonight!!.
I give it a thumbs up.
