We went to the Lombard location last night with a group of 5. I can honestly say that this is probably the best meal I've had in a while. We arrived, were seated immediatly (for a Saturday night at 8:00, not bad!) and promptly ordered the butcher plate. It was a combination of 8 (you can choose the smaller version of 4 as well) soft and hard cheeses, meats, bread, brushetta. We had our very awesome waiter choose for us and we were not disappointed. The blue cheese was amazing, the cheddar was great and the brie was warmed and spread like butter over warm crusty bread.
They obviously have a very extensive wine list and showing. The flights were tasty, the Temperillo was sooo good.
Dinner was so fresh and the flavors exploded in your mouth. Two people ordered the pork at our table, one without the mushroom sauce and it was just as tasty as the one with the sauce. The balance of spices and flavoring was right on.
Dessert! OMG. They only have three desserts to choose from, but they are again, bar none. A skillet full of chocolate cookie with ice cream on top arrived and was devoured in seconds. Also ordered was the Smores. It is a buttery crossiant with peanut butter, marshmellow, and chocolate and then pressed in a panini press. Warm, gooey and heaven.
Overall, I would rate this a 10 on a 10 scale. We will surely be going back, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner as well. Very personable guy, and is doing a great job!

Very nice atmosphere. Excellent selection, but be prepared to pay! I would definitely go here again due to it's comfort, and intimate environment. You can actually have a worthwhile conversation at this place.
