My Wife and I were looking for a nice restaurant in which we could celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary, and we could not have been more disappointed. We were met with cold and dismissive service from indifferent staff members, for example; my wife didn't like the table at which we were seated because she felt a chill from a draft, numerous times I requested that we be sat elsewhere and each time I was met with undue hostility. The meal was adequate at best, but the prices were not, and the whole experience was so unfulfilling, it required all of my best nature to even bring myself to leave a tip. Bad Dog Tavern: Bad time. Dog of a time.

Went to Bad dog after a class for lunch. they had $6 half pound burger with fries. It was so good, they could have gotten $10 out of me. I found my Wednesday lunch spot!!

Me and a bunch of friends went to Bad Dog this week. We all shared buffalo rolls, crispy green beans and the hummus. The buffalo rolls and the crispy green beans were very good and pleasantly creative.

I ordered a burger for my meal and it was great.Very big and tasty. I recommend Bad Dog if you're in Lincoln Square or at Old Town for a class or a show.

Me and my friends ordered a few drinks and some fries. We figured the bill would be around $20 -$25 but it was $78!! When I asked the manager about the charges he said "your lucky we didn't charge you more for being loud". I said are you serious? He said "get blanched". I don't even know what that means.

Pretty good. We were seated right away even though our whole party was not there. The waiter was friendly. I ordered the cajun chicken sandwich, and while I would say calling it cajun was a misnomer, it was still quite tasty. While on the pricey side, they had an interesting selection of beers. I agree with other posters on the great music selection. I wasn't blown away by this place, but I'd be willing to give it another shot

I've been here a few times and here's the deal. Good food, ok service, good atmosphere depending on your tastes. Great music on the weekends! Come later for the DJs, I am usually in the 'hood on Fridays so I stop on in with friends for a couple of hours and it's hard to leave!

Went there this summer and had to wait for our whole party to arrive before we could be seated , outside! when there were plenty of tables available. The waitress was young and sullen I found the food to be good but the drinks expensive. Came away with that yuck feeling about the whole experience.

My wife and I came here on a recent Saturday night. Better than average bar food. My wife especially loved the fried green beans. But what we were really impressed with was the music. The guy dj'ing was playing the most incredible stuff. old Siouxsie, the cure and lots of old 80's punk and new wave as well as Tom Waits, Nick cave and hte better of the new bands out there like Interpol, grandaddy, White Stripes and so on. I cant tell you how nice it is to find a place that hires people with musical taste and not some kid who blasts hip-hop and other inapproprate music while people are eating. We will definetly be back for the food,, but the music selection will definetly keep us coming back. There is no place like this anywhere in the city.
