Dirk's sold me old, smelly bay scallops. They'd expired the day before (a few days, I'd say) but when I asked if they had "fresh bay scallops" the guy just said yes and threw them in a bag.
Their lobster tank wasn't looking too good, either, with a few stray claws lying on the bottom. The lobsters we took home were alive, but far from lively.
Overall, there is no excuse for this place to be receiving the rave reviews it does. There was barely anything available, and what they did have wasn't fresh.
