I always wanted to go to en-thai-ce. Finally went today and had a terrible experience. I love thai food and have been to many many thai restaurants. The pad thai at en-thai-ce was the worst I've ever had. The noodles were under cooked and way over seasoned. The rest of the food was great, but when we asked if we could get something else because of how bad the pad thai was the server yelled at us, told us that we were wrong and shouldn't have chosen it then, and proceeded to be extremely rude even though we were spending quite a bit of money. I will never go there again.

The food is fresh and awesome! Once, you have had their food-you cannot go back to any other. I recently ordered from another Thai restaurant in our area since En*Thai*Ce was closed on a Monday. The other place delivered nothing even comparable. Not only was the portion size ridiculously small but it was also flourescent orange in color-GROSS! We also hit another Thai place in the area again it happened to be a Monday when they were closed and all of our Pad Se Eiw orders were burnt! Bottom line, we will only eat En*Thai*Ce or NOTHING! The have the freshest ingredients and the best prepared dishes we have come across. Whenever we call for delivery the staff is courteous and friendly. Delivery is always prompt. Ask them to do an 'indian curry fried rice' You won't be disappointed!!

I love en thai ce! Great food at a great price, plus comfortable dining area and delivery option. I go every time I'm in chicago.

Wow,
This place is great. The take out is always hot and dinning in is always a treat. The dinning room is very calm and very relaxing for a quiet early evening meal. I will be back.

I really love this restaurant! Everyone is so nice, the food is AMAZING and really inexpensive. I generally get take-out because it's easier and the portions seem to be a bit bigger that when you eat in.

Everything at this place is great! I'm a creature of habit, so I tend to constantly order the same foods from places, but the quality and variety of everything on En*thai*ce's menu has me rethink that strategy every time I pick up the phone. I would humbly suggest to "Thai lover" that he give it another try, or double check that he still has a tongue and taste buds. Also, the service is friendly and outstanding. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

I went to EN*THAI*CE for the first time last night and it was fantastic. I loved everything about it. We ordered the crab rangoon for an appetizer and the egg drop soup and both were delicious. For our entrees we ordered the beef with oyster sauce, the barbeque pork and the padsiew. The padsiew was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend it to everyone. The beef with oyster sauce was also delicious and the barbeque pork was fantastic too. I also recommend trying the buble tea. All in all the food here is just A++. I also want to add that the service was great, our waitress was super nice and helful and the restaurant had a great ambiance. I will definitely be going back very soon!
Critical when it comes to Som Tum. says: On Tuesday 9/6/05 4:21 PM
If you are looking for authentic thai dining, this is your place. They have the best som tum (papaya salad).. spicy or mild to your taste. I love tasting the daily specials. The salmon with panang curry is my favorite. The thai custard is a must for dessert!

En thai ce popped up in place of an old auto supply store. Tried the Pad Thai w/Shrimp, and the Basil Chicken Fried Rice. Both dishes were excellent. Dining room was simple, and restroom was clean! Honeydew bubble tea is recommended.

En thai ce is new to the neighborhood but it's nothing remarkable. Bland food, in fact, everything we had tasted the same. Wait staff friendly but disorganized. We live half a block away but will not return. 'Nuff said.
