Dag Juhlin is one of the most exciting performers performing in the Chicagoland area currently today. He is one part Pete Townshend, one part Billy Bragg, one part that ELO guy, one part Springstein, one part Peter Gabriel, one part Freedy Johnston, and facially one half part Anthony Hopkins. I too wear little black glasses and I swear (though he doesn't know me by name) that he wrote that song for me. Not that he's gay! Not that I'm gay either! I'm just saying, I think he wrote the song for me and refers to the "GIRL in the little black glasses" so that people won't get the wrong idea. What we have is not sexual. It's not actual either. But it is, nonetheless, special.

Dag Juhlin (www.dagjuhlin.com) is one of the fanciest guitar players I ever seen. He makes faces when he plays (that's how good he is) and sometimes he will make eye contact with you in between singing. He's very tall and one time I swear he winked at me. Maybe I'm just dreaming, but I think he was smitten with me. Anyway, I wear black rimmed glasses so he must have wrote that song for me.
NOTICE: This is NOT the OFFICIAL Dag Juhlin website. These reviews are a forum for opinions about the venue that other Centerstage Chicago users may want to know, not to order merchandise, apply for a job, etc.
