I was really disappointed in my dining experience at Campagnola. It was my first visit there, and it was based on a recent positive review in the Reader. I am a huge believer in organics and that was something that drew me in, however, after asking our server questions about several different menu items, she admitted that those particular items aren't available organically "right now." I also felt that alot of the items simply wern't executed to the standard of hearing such positive things.

I used to be a huge fan of Campagnola having alomost flawless food. But in the last year I have noticed a real decline in the quality of the food. As I understand it Chef Michael Altenberg is no longer involved in the restaurant and is just at Bistro Campagne in Lincoln Square.
