Sucks for you, JC... My brother lives 2 blocks away and i basically just move in for that weekend. Why don't you try going and THEN review instead of complaining...sounds like you're a lonely guy. We had a great time again this year, although some of the bands that were supposed to come couldn't get visas. Thats right, Polish bands from Poland whose country is the only one still fighting along in Afghanistawhatever and Iraq STILL needs a visa to get into the US. Amazing...

We've lived 4 blocks from Taste of Polonia for several years. While it's always a lively and fun time in the neighborhood, this year something changed and the volume seems out of control. We could hear every word spoken or sung, and unfortunately, the frustration has inspired us to leave town for any future festival weekends in an effort to ensure we enjoy our holiday. It's too bad we'll have to take our participation elsewhere because the noise became so obnoxious. It seems like a slightly lower volume would actually make it more enjoyable for attendees without trampling everyone else's weekends.

Got the dates wrong for this fest. It takes place 8/31-9/3/07 not thru 9/1 as you have listed.
