A total shock! This place is huge, first of all, and definitely puts a bistro spin on the fish-n-chips norm. Be warned, though: The food is heavy, and we didn't do too well restraining ourselves. The cheese-cheesecake appetizer was very savory, and the Guinness and onion soup was amazing. Definitely a smart pick for anyone who likes the round feeling of a full belly and enjoys the flavors if Irish food. The crowd was much older than I expected, so things were pretty un-boisterous for a Friday night.

Three of us dined upstairs in front of a fireplace, listening to a great pianist at the grand piano in the adjoining room. The food was good and the service was excellent! Members of the staff were uniformly cordial and showed us around after we sampled the beers on tap in the nonsmoking area of the first floor bar. Recommended
