The Building Stage produces work that reminds me why Im in theatre. I love their work, as well as their mission statement. I just saw their recent production, "Dustbowl Gothic", it was one of the most original, and touching pieces of work i have seen in a long time. Go see this show, it will leave your eyes wet, and brain in overdrive.

The quality of theatre at The Building Stage is simply amazing. This is the type of work that people will be talking about years from now. Kudos to artistic director Blake Montgomery. Treat yourself and see a show at The Building Stage.

I have been to the new Building Stage to see Hamlet in the Fall. It was really great. Really awesome staging, great cast. The space is really nice, and I think they are doing another show that is free in the spring. A tip: go to the corner of Carpenter and Kedzie and you'll see the sign. If you Mapquest 1044 Kinzie it is wild. Just go Grand to Carpenter.
