Ate here the other day for breakfast.........the place is AWESOME!! nice mix of customers, attentive servers and the owner is there to make sure everything is perfect. you need to check this place out!!! the omelet and sweet potatoe hashbrowns hit the spot! We will be back!

...so I go back and again the service was crap. I dont know how many times the waitress and owner walk by me as I sit at the counter waiting for a menu. I finally get one b/c the server forgot to walk by me this time. Oh, and the place wasn't even busy. I order an omelette. 2 years later and the food got worse. The omelette looked like some 8 year old scrambled some eggs and vegetables and threw it onto a grill and then plopped it on my plate. Wait...that is how it was cooked. I make the same omelette when I was 7. But i've since progressed. Hash Brown's huh? You would think they were good? Tasted like burnt twigs. And they were cold! I asked the owner for some hot sauce and he was rude about bringing me some. Again, i spent about 14.00....for breakfast. Never again.

...so roughly 2 years later I went back to Hash Brown's mainly b/c people have said good things about the place and its the only breakfast place in the area. I figured maybe they changed and I would give them a second chance. What the hell was I thinking?!!

About 2 years ago I went to Hash Brown's for an omelette. The omelette was disgusting. It was amateur at best. And the service stunk. I left the place having paid 13.00 for an omelette and cup of tea.......

Well what can i say, i came to chicago for a holiday and after i ate at Hashbrowns, i think i might just move there so i can have breakfast and lunch there everyday. Really this place is one of the best places to eat in Chicago try it to believe it. P.P

You Cna not go wrong with this spot. Everything I have tried is great. Even the oatmeal here is a winner!!!!! Don't miss this restaurant. JFR
