Ive been going to Sushi Loop for a few years. Beyond the tasty food the comfortable and welcoming presence is such a refreshing change from many Sushi places.

For the last two years my wife, our friends, and I have frequented Sushi Loop and we all agree it is the best in Chicago as far as the perfect combination of great food, friendly service, and reasonable prices! If we go two weeks without coming here, we miss it, and Jay and his staff are so wonderful, we consider them friends!

The atmosphere was laid back and the sushi was awesome. Highly recommend "The Mountain." The sushi chef made a special roll for us when we asked him for a recommendation. We will definitely go back.

Love this place! Very friendly. We first wandered in when we moved to the west loop and we are so glad we did. Best of all we love the price! Great food, service, what more could you ask for!

Sushi Loop is my favorite sushi restaurant in Chicago. The ambiance is simple and quiet, not at all trendy like the other West Loop sushi spots. Sushi loop offers fresh sushi and rarely available fish at truly reasonable prices. They have an unbelievable maki selection of unique items, but the sashimi tells you just how fresh everything is. Order the super white tuna and it will be the best you've ever had (and I lived in San Francisco!) For non sushi lovers, the Korean BBQ is great. They offer a full bar but don't push it with the funky trendy cocktails. The sushi chef/owner always thanks you for coming and you are happy to give this couple-run restaurant your money. Not including alcohol, I have never spent more than $30/person there!

I passed Sushi Loop many times thinking it was just another sushi pop-up however; I was totally surprised when I went in. The customer service is excellent, they took our jackets and helped with them when we left. The sushi was probably the freshest I've had in Chicago yet and I eat a lot of sushi. The prices were reasonable and the decor was ok. It's definitely not as fancy as some but better quality fish than most. I highly recommend this place and I'm happy I don't live too far away.
