This is a jem in the hustle and bustle of Lakeview. I haven't had tea so delicious, well-prepared, and in so many varieties since I lived in Ann Arbor. Enrico blends all of the loose-leaf tea himself, and if you have a favorite that you don't see on the shelf, he'll blend it for you if he has the ingredients.
The quality of his tea speaks for itself! He has a ton of your classic blacks and greens, but the real deal is the multitude (and I mean multitude) of custom blends, using for bases black, green and red leaves. You may even find a few whites!
I haven't tried any of the bubble teas or shakes, but those are available, too. And let's not forget the teapots and accessories to boot. Any $25 purchase gets you a free cup of tea.
I would recommend this place to anybody. Enrico is as friendly as they come, and he knows his stuff. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, so feel free to bring a book and chill for a bit.
Plus, unbelievably, this is a local spot. No chains or corporate garbage! Supporting your local economy is extremely important. So go enjoy some fantastic tea, and leave with your ethics (and peace of mind) intact.
