As others have said, I had been going to Cascade since I was in High School. I live in Orlando, Fl and found out that Cascade still exists!...Great! When I am up to West Chicago for a visit I will relive the memorie. Not too many drive inns any more in this country. Thank You for being there.

Can't wate for the drivr in to open. We've been going there for 10yrs every weekend even if we have seen the sme movies. The kids love it they like to see when the old cars come in with the car clubs. We always park in the same place. We we're there last season up till the last day. We pass by every weekend on our way to roller skating. We came from the city it's worth the drive 2 movies for the price of one and returning back to the past. We rather go to the drive in than a theater. See you soon for opening weekend in the same parking spot. The red mini-van.

We go to the Cascade 4 or 5 times every summer and as someone with a small convertible I greatly appreciate that they make the vans and SUV's park further back - and it's not ALLLLLLL the way back it's from row 6 back - maybe the day that guy was there he got there late and there was nothing closer than ALLLLLL the way in the back. It's a good price for 2 movies and they have a Movie Bonus Club card that when you pay for 6 movies the 7th is free. The food is good. I often have a corn dog which is usually good but the one I had a couple of weeks ago needed to be cooked a little longer. We love it when some of the car clubs come and we can look at those before the show starts. All in all I think the Cascade is great.

I went with my wife last summer and I was dissapointed. #1 - if you have an SUV you have to park aaaaaalllllllll the way in the back. #2 The screen is too small to see anything if you are in a van/truck/SUV. #3 the screen was out of focus. Nothing like trying to watch a flick on a small screen while fighting a headache.

I've only been to the cascade on dates, but recently took my two younger cousins there for a early matinee with my boyfriend. By the time of the second movie, the kids were asleep, we were able to cuddle and relax. However, we did not appreciate the creepy concession guy asking us if we wanted to eat his hot dog during the middle of the second film. He looked like Doc Brown from Back to the Future on crack and scared my cousins half to death. Not to mention me. And I think the boyfriend was startled also.

cascade is a sweeeeeeetttt summer spot .you can go thier with the misses, bring a little doobie a six pack ((((((and mind your own fu***ng Bizzzzznesss))) based on some of the review's I just finshed reading. The only thing I find funny is that the food is a little pricey and I think they get it cheaper at that food joint right in front of the drive inn. How ironic huuuu but since it's penuts to get in I guess it all even's out ...I went to the drive inn in oswego once and I did'nt think, that many people could fit in a astro van if you catch my drift. enjoy cascade .and remember dont drink and drive..... pull over and take a sip !ha ha ha

Anthony Bogard- Please don't try and use words that you don't understand. The word Admonish means to warn against something. So you are telling people not to come to the Cascade drive in for a good time? I feel sorry for kids and your unsatisfied wife.

    Sincerely, Tim Wisneski

p.s. Tell your wife that if she wants to change her luck, I'll be in the last stall of the mens room, on opening day, between movies.

We love going to the drive-in during the summer months and like checking out the different drive-ins within a reasonable driving distance. I hate to say, Cascade did not impress us in the least. First, there is the Scoobie war which is absolutely ridiculous. Their lights do not distract from anything. Second, the van, SUV, truck parking limits. Third, after the first show the parking limits are out the window. If you have this rule at least enforce it for both shows. Fourth, the food totally sucks. Fifth, the employees are not very friendly. Maybe to some these things really don't matter, but when you have experienced better and are treated better elsewhere, it does matter. Won't be doing Cascade again.

My parents along with my 8 brothers and sisters moved to Carol Stream in 1959. We have been going to the Cascade ever sinse. My adult children still go there with their friends. Does anyone remember the park that used to be up front? We could actually be kids, and play. We knew to come back to the car when the cartoons started. Good times, good times.
