this hot dog stand is really no better than any other and is extremely dirty. the owner who owned inferno pizza and several delapadated buildings in evanston has a very sleezy reputation. beware of this dive and its inhabitants.

Actually, this place has been around for close to 35 years. I worked there in the early 70's. Every time I'm in Evanston, I stop in for the dogs. The guys that started this also owned a pizza place called "Inferno's" next to the el stop at Central. Just thought you might like to know...
