I hired the Gene Krupa II Orchestra for my recent wedding. I will tell you that band is red hot, they really do a credit to the late Gene Krupa. Roy Anderson, the drummer, still has what it takes to swing the band. They also played some rock, and everybody raved about this group.

Things have slowed down for us a little. We are only using six musicians some times instead of the usual 14 musicians. People can't afford as many musicians this year.

My wife and myself went to hear and dance to the Gene Krupa II Orchestra last week at Williams Lake Hotel and Resort. We had no idea what a treat this would turn out to be. Co-Leader/drummer Roy Anderson really swung that band with all the flash and showmanship the way the late Gene Krupa did. Orchestra director Dale DeMarco, knowns what the people like to hear and knows to turn up the heat with the many Krupa hit tunes. Dale play a mean clarinet and sax, and does a great job singing and leading the orchestra. My wife Pattie and myself wish Roy, Dale and the Krupa II band members lots of great luck with there upcomming performances. Thank you: Glenn

The Gene Krupa II Orchestra is doing quite well with private bookings for New York, PA, and CT. We have been a tribute orchestra, since 1999, and worked for several years with the Estate. Then in 2003 we decieded to change our format and do a tribute to about 7 famous big band leaders including of course the late Gene Krupa. The orchestra is 14 seasoned musicians, not in age but in musical experence. There are at present several other Krupa bands, several are working quartets and pay a wonderful tribute to the late Gene Krupa. One of the bands does a Buddy Rich, Nelson Riddle and Krupa tribute, plus classical pops music in the Southern states.

Since July 22nd 1956 when Gene Krupa and myself started Gene's largest International Fan and record club, only the warmest coments were recieved by our members. Now over 46 years later the association is still running. You would think Gene never passed away in 1973. Our membership has droped about 30% since 1975, but we still have around 23,000 members. Cordially: Roy Anderson, president Gene Krupa Int'l Jazz Association

The Gene Krupa II Orchestra is alive and well, over the past few months on our performances to the general public we have been well recieved. So far our summer season looks a little thin, because of the lack of funds for a 14 piece bands, the fall looks pretty good so far with several good bookings.

Having the Gene Krupa II Orchestra for the past five years, I am delighted how many people remember the music and fame of the late Gene Krupa. His music is alive and well and we strive to keep his legend going.

for the past 4 years a krupa II Orchestra out there set up by Gene Krupa the second as a tribute to his uncle. Krupa had such a warm personality that no drummer to this day has matched, and what showmanship, when Gene walked onto th stage it was like turning on twenty thousand theatrical lights and then the majic began once the band started, even off stage Krupa stood out in a crowd of 50 thousand people.
