I live around the corner from Tropi Cuba and began going out of pure convenience. What I soon discovered is that this place has some of the best countertop food and drink in Chicago. The cafe con leche is without a doubt the best coffee drink I have sampled anywhere in the city and the chorizo, egg and cheese sandwich leaves nothing to be desired. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and friendly which makes the environment very relaxed and comfortable. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely stop in.
