on saturday 7/25/2009 This could not have been the same restaurant featured on check please(on 79th st.). The service was very very poor. Excessive wait time(3hrs)the food wasn't that great or good,but it was hot. I've had better at Dixie's Kitchen

Lagniappe is definitely New Orleans in Chicago!! Every dish that I have ordered has brought back memories for me! The Jambalaya is worth my cross city commute for! But in the summer time the Riverwalk location is the place to be!

The Gumbo is absolutely the best! Thanks for choosing 79th Street, where our choices for cuisine is often too limited.

The crab cakes are INCREDIBLE, and the shrimp po'boy is the best sandwich I've had in my life.
