If you are looking for good food, good service, and good atmoshpere this is NOT the place to go. The food was horrible. I ordered the short ribs and mashed potatoes. The shorts ribs were tough and smelled like gas from the stove. The mashed potatoes were made from a box, I have not had processed mashed potatoes since my high school cafitria. The service was horrible. The waitress brought me a drink I didn't order and I told her I didn't order it, her answer was "yet you did". I wrote this so that others may learn from my bad expierence and so others will not have to waste a night out. Bottom line this place should not be in business.

I love this place because its secluded and has a sexy atmosphere, plus the people are real fun too. The prices for drinks are a bit much, so get tanked up before you leave the house...other than that, I got hit on in line for the bathroom and thought I was in Costa Rica.

I have excitedly wanted to check out N for a long time. In fact I was so excited about it that I made my boyfriend take me here to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately for us the service was horrible. Upon arrival, there were six small parties dining (three outside and three in). It was late, so most of the parties had their food. There were two employees behind the bar and one waiting tables. When we walked in, we weren't addressed for over five minutes (the restaurant is really small so we were very visible). Someone from the bar told me I should find myself a place outside. So, I made my way outside only to discover there were no clean tables. I bussed my own table and sat down. The same lady from behind the bar eventually came out with a menu. The menu is small, but the food items look really good. My boyfriend and I decided what we wanted to eat and drink, and finally our waitress came out. She took our orders and took off. The next time we saw her she was refilling waters at a neighboring table. She never checked on us and never offered us water. When it finally reached 45 minutes since we originally walked in, we walked out.
No water, no drinks, no food, no attention, NO THANKS!

Ñ is the type of place that you don't want too many people to know about. It's discreet location and small loung charm are what bring me to it time and time again. When I want a nice out night with a small group of close friends Ñ is the place we meet. The drinks are great... for around $8 you can get a ample sized mojitos or caipirinhas that hit all the right spots. Their empanadas are also very tasty and priced just right for what you're given. When they have live bands playing bossa nova or other types of Latin music you really get the full experience. Essentially, Ñ is the kind of lounge I'd been looking for in Chicago for quite some time.
