The women who tend bar there are all really cool, but the men who work there are snots. Avoid on nights with no female bartender.

Awesome people. Bar staff is fun and it's a great place to hear live music during the weekends.

The Charleston is one of my favorite bars, the other being Doyle's in Boston. The everyday clientele include an interesting mix of neighborhood people with broad backgrounds. I made a number of friends there during the time I lived in Bucktown. And their coffee's good too.

This place is a great neighborhood spot. I really enjoyed how friendly everyone was - and the beer was cold and flowing. Great weekend crowd.
