Before posting this review I read the reviews of other patrons hoping that my experience was an isolated event. It appears that it is. My cousin, a friend and I decided to have lunch at Dylan's this past Friday. Everything was going well until we were seated. We had the waitress from hell! First she took 15 minutes to even acknowledge us. When she did finally come to our table she just asked "Do you know what you want?" From that point on her lack of customer service skills became more and more apparent. Although, we went at a time that is very busy I believe she and her manager used that excuse as a way to condone her poor customer service skills. It took us to complain before she begun to ask if we needed additional assistance. Not only that, when we informed the manager of her attitude he implied that we just wanted a free meal. Ha, ha, ha! Long story short, we ended up letting him know that is charity was not welcomed and instead of tipping our rude waitress we tipped the busboy who assisted us and quite well I must add.

I love Dylan's I had my 26th birthday party there in March and it was wonderful! I was checking out different clubs and decided to go with this one. Glad I did.

well, the first time i came to dylan's bar was last year with my best friend for my birthday & we really enjoyed ourselves a lot i really like the atomsphere in the bar the music & food was fantastic. Therefore i was thinking about having my 24th b-day party in the beginning of february there because of the setting of the place. Also, i know that my close family & friends will enjoy the place as much as i did last year.

I can't remember the last time I was more pleasantly surprised by a place than I was by Dylan's. I went in there on a Saturday afternoon because it was one of the few places open in the Loop. I figured it was just a Bennigan's/TGI Fridays/Chili's kind of franchise place. Turns out to be a totally cool place. Great music, cool staff, tons of good beers on tap and really good bar food. Ranks up there with Stocks & Blondes on Wells as one of the last great non-franchise places in the Loop. Recommend highly.

Dylan's Tavern is a great place for good food, drinks and music. The atmosphere is a very adult and calm party atmosphere. I enjoyed the tavern so much that I decided take my cousin there for her bacholorette party there. I called the venue several times the day before and the night of to make sure we would be able to get in and I was told that everything was fine come on down. When we got there the venue was closed to the public for a private party. We were told to wait for 45 minutes and maybe we could get in. Now even thought this was not a good experience for me or the party I was with I am willing to give them one more try for a birthday party.
