I am new to the South loop and was looking forward to this event. What a disappointment! They are a dozen great restaurants within a couple blocks of the "bash" that I was hoping would be present and NOT ONE was present - just someone selling pizza slizes and then a Robinsons BBQ table...can't the organizers get the actual vendors in the neighborhood involved- food drink, products services etc? We stayed less than an hour and would never go again...

My wife and I live on Wabash a block South of the festival so have watched it grow from the first one just 4 years ago. This area just South of Roosevelt has exploded in the last few years with residential so the festival continues to get bigger and better. Food options also continue to grow and prices are standard fair for these things, booths with art and crafts and local fair also continue to get better. There is street parking on Michigan and/or the Red line is just 2 blocks south. Come and enjoy a nice evening--it's only $5 to get in.
