I believe that the Fiestas Puertorriquenas,are the best time of the year to show off our culture,to the new neighbors. Let us show that we know too how to have fun with out being a burden to others. Many people believe that Homboldtpark is dangerous, and I would say yes to a point,thier are areas were you should,t be at two in the mourning,but this is true any were in the city. So come ,come out and join uslet us show you the best part of being puertorican in our great city.

make sure to keep the tradition and dont let anybody take are traditions away and if you are puerto rican make sure to be their this year we need to come out and show are pride and joy and thats being full blooded puerto rican thanks and hope to see this year more people than other years dont let this pride get away.

The 2009 festival runs from June 16th - 21st. Artists include Tony Vega (Tues.), Alexis y Fido (Weds.), Homenaje al Apollo Sound con Sammy Gonzalez (Thurs.), Cano Estremera (Fri.), Ismael Miranda (Sat.), Victor Manuelle (Sun.).
