Its the best festival of the year. The food is great,the entertainment is superb and its a great family thang. Everyone who attends this festival leaves full and having enjoyed themselves. Its also good for a laugh!!!!!

Here's a great fest experience that's starting to outgrow the small town it's held in- Whiting, Indiana. Last weekend of July heralds the event that has had national coverage in recent years. Three days of celebrating local ethnic heritage from the heavily industrialized area. Highlights-the Friday parade showcases the Precision Lawnmowing Team, The Babushka Beauties , and Mr.and Mrs. Pierogi. The delightful and filling little pillows come with saurkraut, potato, mushroom and cheese fillings and go great with grilled kebabs, Polish sausages and grilled corn-on-the-cob. Arts and crafts and Polka music by the Beer Garden. Admission-Free!
