We went on a Saturday night, The $20 cover charge for this place was crazy. The people were young thugs & ghetto girls. A weak Long Island was 12.75. At the end of the night there were about 5 fights, with people running every which way. The $15 valet took about 30 minutes to get our car. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THE CHERRY RED, but the music was hot.

We went on 7-14 to cherry red, for a club on the northside they have north side prices, 25 for males and 20 for ladies, 11 dollar drinks is a bit much also, but the music was good and she liked the place and i guess in the end thats all that matters, PS with the prices so high they should turn the Air Conditioner on...lol

Me & my girls went to Cherry Red for my girls 21st birthday June 23,2007. When we first got there it was empty as hell. It was bad enough that it was a $20 cover with $11+ drinks. At first, the DJ was horrible playing all this Spanish music, but as the night progressed more people showed up and the DJ got too crunk. I had a blast. When we left, we were all soaking wet with sweat so we had a ball. I'll be going back again, just not on a Saturday night.

Cherry Red looks cool!! BUT their deals sux!!! I was suppose to have my birthday party yesterday and we had a drink package. The guy I spoke to told me all my friends will get in with no cover and that the drink special was optional. When we got there they wanted to charge $10 cover if people didn't purchase the drink package. What's more messed up is that, there was NO ONE at the club!!! So they wanted to charge us to go into a empty club. Bouncer was very nice and handle the situation to his best ability, but the management is horrible. There's definetly better clubs out there than this.

SATURDAY CLUB GOERS BEWARE, cont... The place was jam packed. It took me about 8 minutes (No Exaggeration!!!) to walk from the back of the club to the restroom. In regards to the crowd there was a totally different atmosphere the second time around. NOT ONE OUNCE OF CLASS IN THE ENTIRE BUILDING. Club/Party promoters have brought a totally different crowd on the scene. I am positive that Cherry Red will not be positing photos of the crowd that I was surrounded by on their website. Bottom Line, I will NEVER PATRONIZE THIS VENUE AGAIN!!!

SATURDAY CLUB GOERS BEWARE!!! My visit to Cherry Red (June 07) was one of the worst club experiences that I have ever had. I was there for my sister’s birthday get together and apparently she had some sort of special reservation/party package (I believe private party package that is posted on their website). When we arrived not only did we have a hell of a time getting in (arguing back and forth with THE MOST IGNORANT STAFF ON THE PLANET), we paid a high cover, and there was NO OPEN BAR PACKAGE as was arranged with the individuals that we spoke to 3 weeks in advance…ONLY OVERPRICED BOTTLE SERVICE! I would HARDLY CALL IT SERVICE. The girl that brought us the bottles filled out glasses up once sat the bottles in an ice bucket and disappeared for rest of the night. There was a 30% gratuity charge tacked onto the bill for someone to do nothing but sit a bottle of overpriced alcohol in an ice bucket at your table. Deplorable!!! We were offered a “conditional” bottle of Champagne “on the house” to compensate for the horrendous drama that we experienced, but only after we purchased our own bottle of course (What a F*@#ing joke!!!).

I went there this weekend & I enjoyed myself the music was good. The only thing that I worried about is the owner having someone file a law suit against him. The place is so dark & there are steps you don't even see & I seen at least a dozen people trip & almost fall. Pretty Hilarious if you ask me.

I liked the look of this place and a good bit of the girls here were looking pretty good, however the crowd lacks a mix and the music or should i say dj's failed to get things jumping. Alot of "cliques" standing at either bar or in the lounge area. i guess a plus is that this place wasnt overly crowded and hot. I'd go back just to drink and chill but not if i wanted to let loose.

I went this past weekend on Saturday with a few friends. It's really not my kind of place, but I had a great time with the people I went with. I drank and danced, danced and drank. I don’t think I could be sober there… The music was repetitive, but when you are drinking it doesn’t matter. If you go, be careful of all the steps. When I first got there I took a lap around the whole bar, and tripped because I didn’t see a step – and I was not drunk. The bartenders are very nice and they always remembered the drink I was drinking. BTW: The night I went there was $5 dollar cover.
