AMAZING FOOD!! No other Mexican food in Chicago even comes CLOSE to it....EVERYTHING on the menu is SUPERB!! Service is friendly and on top of what you may need, the owner walks around shaking hands, asking how everything is, etc....very welcoming. Weekend nights are great fun, too!

I love this place! The food is great. I would venture away from the typical tacos and burritos because you can get that anywhere! My favorites are the Steak Ajonjoli and the pollo Achiote. Oh and Pollo al Cilantro... I love cilantro! I think they should do more desserts since sometimes my friend and I like to go out for drinks and dessert, but the flan is delicious. and the rest still need to be tried. OOO and I forgot Karaoke on Thursdays and weekend dance parties. you forget it's in the burbs! I love the old school tracks! yes, this is my new hangout.

My mom loved the 'tampiquena'. Louie makes a pretty good dam 'mojito'. Alex made me one too, I was pretty impressed! Hey, the family's taking my dad for his b-day dinner there. Hmm, can't wait!

I went to see a friend's band here and it turned out that they had decided to book latin bands instead of the punk bands that were supposed to play there that night and didn't tell anyone! I drove all the way out there just to turn around and go home...very unprofessional. If you are in a band be wary of this place.

DO NOT PLAY HERE IF YOU'RE A BAND! My band, Capital Eye, was supposed to play here tonight. When we got there, they told us that our show was canceled, WITHOUT NOTICE, because they decided to book a Latin band instead of us and 2 other bands that were supposed to play tonight. This show has been booked for months. We are a little more than disappointed and I would not support this establishment if this is the way that it is ran.

Me entire family and I LOVE Alejandra's...even my hubby, who is Mexican says you can't find that steak with nopales for 2 anywhere...not even in Mexico!! Having my B-day dinner there too!! LOVE IT!!!

i love alejandra's!!! they have the best enchiladas ever! their rice is awesome, and the beans are just finger-lickin good! the staff is very nice, and you are sure to be taken care of. Their margaritas and martinis are the bomb!!! i love this place. for awesome, authentic mexican cuisine, go there!!!!!

I have been to Alejandra's twice. The first time was shortly after the grand opening and the last time was for a wedding reception this past weekend. The food and service were great!!! I would and have recommended it to several co-workers and friends! Definitely a 5 star dinner.
