Nice food, definitely, but don't sit outside because there is a big dog two doors down that barks a lot in the evenings. It is painful.

This restaurant has a more normal/upscale atmosphere than other organic/vegetarian/vegan places. It's not so "crazy colorful artsy."

The turkey chili was great! It was sufficiently spicy and hearty. I had a bellini and then a brunch item "flattata" which was a egg, artichoke, spinach, cheese deal on their wood-fired flatbread. Delicious! Service was good, but the space felt really cold.. I needed a blanket. Will definitely return. :)

I have eaten at Crust several times and have not been disappointed. I very much enjoy their sun salad. I wish they had appetizers. I am happy to see that they have the option now to swap tempeh for the meat on the pizzas as this opens up many more options for me as a vegetarian. They are now offering delivery and I had some flatbreads delivered the other night. They arrived promptly, were not cold and were perfectly cooked. Sometimes the ambiance of crust is too busy for me, so I enjoy the delivery option. I also enjoy going to crust for late drinks on the weekend as it is much quieter than many of the bars in the neighborhood. I find I can actually have a conversation and a drink at the same time!

We ate at Crust recently and really enjoyed the dining experience, although we would make a few recommendations to the restaurant in case they read this review. Crust should offer an option to have all pizzas as thin as the children's pizza. Also, Crust should come up with a simple tomato sauce, as too many of their pizzas are sans sauce. Maybe just putting a bunch of heirloom tomatoes in a Cusinart with a glove or two of garlic would be a great tomato sauce. The kids pizza with that addition would be fabulous. We really like the atmosphere and the waitstaff is great. We also like the sustainable concept.

I recently went to Crust for lunch with a group of 5. We sat in the back outdoor garden. Service was excellent and so was the food. We each ordered different flatbread pizzas and everyone enjoyed them. I had the goat cheese/mushroom which was wonderful. I highly recommend Crust.

What a treat! I am always concerned with healthy eating & Crust really sold me. Great atmosphere, especially the outside seating, fun & hopping. the food was just so fresh & delicious: great salad combinations & the flatbreads were so creative. Decent prices also. I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. We just LOVED the specialty martinis. We tried 3 & ordered a second round!!!!! Service was friendly & efficient. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff so early in the game. For just being open for a couple of weeks, they really have their act together. What a joy! We'll be back often!

My wife and I dined at Crust the other night. The space is small and and cleanly decorated. There is lots of outdoor seating, both along Division, with a relaxing patio at the rear. (it was raining; outdoor seating was not an option ) We waited a long time for drinks, as the bartender seemed to be having some trouble mixing up the specialty drinks (or at least he was taking a long time doing so) They also were out of several of the beer selections on the Menu. My wife ordered a pomegranate mint julep, which was fruity and tasty, but a bit too much for my taste- I ordered the caprese, and my wife the Caesar- the veggies on both were extremely fresh. The mozz. was slightly sweet and full of flavor, the onions on top of the salad provided a nice contrast to the sweetness of the tomato and cheese. We both ordered a pizza- I ordered pizza marghretta, and my wife ordered one with blue cheese, arugula, tomato, and bacon. The crust of the pizza was extremely light and chewy. My pizza was simple and well prepared, and consistent from start to finish. My wife's choice was tasty as well; the bacon was especially tasty, and it seemed that all the different flavors contrasted well w this pizza. The service (aside from the bar) was really great-- they really get the food out quick; we waited about 5 minutes for salads, and 15-20 for the pizza, which seemed like good timing. Overall this was a good experience, and we would return, although perhaps not on a rainy night.

It was a delightful evening on May 30, with warmth and a light breeze. The weather was similar to our waiter, warm and breezy. Jacques served us well. Noshing on a wonderful cobb like, but tossed salad with a light but delightful summer dressing was our beginning with an ending of flatbread that was outstanding, one flatbread with clams and another with mushrooms, goat cheese and spinach. Both may have been a little light on the toppings, but amazing. The chardonnay from Argentina was sweet and even though that is not my preference i loved it and continued with it the entire meal. The Côtes du Rhône was equally good for my partner. While the kitchen and bar were a little slow, that is to be expected in the opening weeks and the dreamy waiter made up for it. We sat on the back patio, but had the option for the street side patio or the airy interior. The hotspot is going to be VERY popular in the upcoming months.

I just heard the mention of this Certified Organic restaurant; only the fourth in the entire country! I will definitely support the people who have gone to so much trouble to provide me with food of unquestionable quality!!!!...And yummy pizza.
