Just across from US Cellular field, Armour Square Park is a great place to grab a slice (there’s pizza across the way) and read a book while waiting for the game to get going. In fact, the park has just about everything one could hope for in urban recreation. It’s got 10 acres of baseball, tennis and volleyball courts, a football/soccer field, a basketball court, a horseshoe pit, handball/racquetball courts and outdoor swimming. Armour’s indoor facilities feature two gyms and a hall with an events stage.
